It's about a 5min drive from the town centre, very convenient location and good reception staff. The lake view from the room is awesome, and when it's clear you can enjoy watching the sunset from your room. The bed is large and comfy, I had an issue with the bathroom door which was quickly resolved by the reception staff (and plus free dinner as a remedy). Amazing staying experience and keep it up!

We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary and were delighted when we arrived to find not only chocolates and a note from the staff but also followed by some complimentary cakes bought up to our room. Such a lovely little touch that made us feel super special. The hotel's location is awesome, right on the lake front. The rooms are great but just starting to feel a little dated, maybe a room by room spruce up could help. As it stands up to $400 a night is starting to feel a little much given the quality of the competition. We booked use of the spa but wandered down to find no changing rooms nearby which was a little odd. But with all that said, a great hotel, superb staff and views to die for.

The Junior Suite was amazing - but we did ask my son and 2 little children over to watch TV and have a swim (they live in Taupo) to give them a treat and have a light dinner together I loved the hotpool, and the swimming pool, the lounge staff were so friendly and mulled wine incedible recipe, very enjoyable.

Top views and location. Walked out door and you're right on edge of Lake. The pool was great nice temp. You just didn't want to get out as that's when you got cold. Exceptional staff, got upgraded very quickly (totally surprised they did this) during stay after couple of issues with original rm. After not being able to resolve 2nd issue, they just upgraded. Both rooms were stunning and the upgraded one with lounge just blew my mind.

Staff were absolutely fantastic, room was beautifully warm with a stunning view. Grotto pool was the coolest thing ever, pics do not do it justice!!!booking is a must so enquire asap. Pool was deliciously warm. Food was gorgeous view whilst eating was amazing and the girl who made my coffee made it perfeeeeeectly 😍😍😍😍appreciate you!!!Filiimina checked us in and was so beautiful great service and wished me a happy birthday(hope that's how you spell your name) lived every minute and will def make it pur regular.
